fabulous - I'll send out some feelers in my plant people world for ya...I may have the aristolochia so I'll check my seeds this week...I used to grow that clitoria, and it has such fabulous flowers, but alas it never grew too well, and the deer finished it off one year.

Not meaning to criticize, but are you aware that Cymbalaria does have weedy tendencies, right? Namely, it self-sows freely.

plants.usda.gov/java/profile (plants.usda.gov appeared to be down at the time of this reply, but it usually is really good for researching the distributions of most given plants in North America)

Again, I don't intend any insult, just making sure you're aware of the potential of this plant. Especially in that gardening Eden of Portland!

        Cheers.

This is very true! It's taken over an entire half block of chain link fence near the campus where I go to school, and all it has to go on is a crack in the sidewalk, plus students step on it all the time. I always just thought it was weed.

I was just procrastinating on some homework, and noticed that, if you mean phaseolus coccineus, not phaseolus coccenius (which I couldn't find) you're talking about red runner beans, of which I have tons of seeds and would be more than happy to share.
