Hi
i'm new to the tribe, and this year will be my first official organic garden. i have grown stuff before but only casually. This year it's different because i live completely on raw and living foods, so this garden will replace my summer market shopping...and most likely take me to new levels of understanding nourishment.
I live in an apartment but am blessed with a large private yard and free reign over the garden beds. i am making plans with the landlord to build a raised bed for my vegetable garden (negotiating that now, as he requested that i use railroad ties....yuk!). The bed is rather long but will be shallow, so i don't have a ton of room. It's best that i start small anyway so i don't get overwhelmed.
So i am posting to find out if anyone out there would be interested in sharing seeds. I am going to order them online but won't be needing even half of what i get (no room for 10 zucchini plants...) so i got the idea to split the packages with other people. I am still figuring out what i want to order but first i wanted to feel for interest in this tribe. This could be done through the mail if you don't live local to the Seattle area, however, if you live in a very different climate from the Pacific NW, then some of my seed choices may not apply to your climate.
Nice to see this tribe exists!
